I Love My husband

That's all. :D

We're both working on trying to journal a little more often, and intentionally, especially considering all of the wonderful things that have happened and that we've learned in the past year or so.

Emmett acquired some "dummies" from work--blank books made up to the specifications of a book we're about to publish, to make sure we like what we're going to get, or something--for a really nice "family deluxe" edition of a two-volume book set Cedar Fort published; it has no words on it, and blank pages, and a really swank cover, and there are *two* of them all matchy-matchy. We've decided these will make a fantastic place to do our "small plates of Nephi" kind of journaling--the really important stuff, the family updates, etc. Our story of how we met, and the adventures of having Tobit and future children, etc. With pictures and other scraps as we like. Sometimes perhaps after writing "rough drafts" of a sort on our less intimidating, daily journal options.

For the daily goal, I'd like to find me a new cute spiral-bound notebook for the day-to-day stuff and to work out some of my thoughts for the "family journal," and to plan my Sunday School lessons, and whatever else. The ones I've been using are starting to fill up . . . (which is more a sign of how long I've had them than how diligent a record-keeper I've been. ;) )

Emmett has decided to start a blog (with some public, some private posts, or whatever he likes) as his regular journaling option. Also, he's trying to set it up as his very own website from scratch, rather than using Blogger or one of those . . . because that's a fun challenge, and something he's wanted an excuse to try for a good while, anyway.

Either way, we're both putting in the effort, and we'll have each other to remind us to keep on it, and it'll be really fun reading and sharing each other's journal entries, and I'm excited.

This whole post has been primarily for me to have written *something* today, just to get the ball rolling. Most of my journaling won't be here on the blog, but probably as I start getting back into the habit of writing my thoughts regularly, I will again have some things that I'll specifically want to share to the world, and this blog might start coming alive again, ever so slightly. ;)
